The four door
When I bought the car, it was running. I blew the transmission pump on the way home welling having some fun. I bought this car for the front end. I needed the radiator support, grill, bumper, and at the time the hood. I also found out I needed the panel under the windshield. As a plus, I also got the front fender wells, parts of the floor board, and rear inner and outer fender wells.
The front fenders had been molested. Ok they we rapped by someone that should never be allowed to touch a car. Someone popped riveted some cheap metal and then put enough mud on it to carve out a fender. I was hopping to be able to put some patch panels on... not so lucky.

I need the Dash to the Firewall Jul 16
3 July 16, I started cutting up the car. I need the dash out of it. After two days of cutting and grinding the dash, the part I needed is out. If you're going to do this spend a hour looking at everything. The defogger vents for the windshield need to be pulled. Yes, I found out that when they caught fire, they release black smoke. Filled the barn and took 30 minutes to clear out.
Start by cutting the side out where the dash. I cut a lot of parts out of the way I didn't need. The air box that runs across the front and down the side gets cut in many ways. There are two rods that are used to hold the steering column and brake petal up. There is also two mounts right and left at the bottom of each side.
After its out it pretty standard clean up. Grind, cut repeat. Clean all the spot welds points and start thinking about how it mounts in the 442.
Where the windshield rest has some rust. I going to clean this up and maybe TIG in some replacement steel. To put it in will only require the two side flaps of steel from the buckets to be lifted to allow this to slide in.
I will get some POR 15 on the under side. The top need some touch up and a good paint.
