LeBlond #2 Tool and Cutter
Update 28 July
I tried to use this Cylindrical grinding attachment and found out I couldn't get it set up. The main grinding wheels have to spin one direction. This keeps the grinding wheels on the spindles. The set up on the Cylindrical grinding attachment had it spinning the wrong way. Looking at the motor I found I got a really good motor when I bought this. It is a CCW/CW 120/240 motor. |
I added the wire schematic that I needed for my motor. The wiring of motors normally have a the same labels... P1, P2, J10... The key wires for a CCW/CW motor for 120 volts are the J10 and T5 wires. By powering or not powering it controls the direction. This set up allows you to switch the direction. If you only need it to go one way hard wire it without the switch.
For those that like to sue people for their own mistakes... If you don't know what your doing, don't wire the motor yourself. Hire an electrician. For those willing, remember, if the magic blue smoke escapes the motor, you cannot put it back.

I've been wanting to be able to sharpen end mills and other cutter. I found this on Craig's list. The owner had gotten it as part of a deal for a lathe and only used it once. I am still working on a place in the barn for it. I running out of floor space. It seems to be in great shape. Once I get in place more will follow.
