My Shop Tools
Over the years I found that I've needed tools that are very expensive. My way of getting around the cost is rebuilding old tools. In some cases I hit a home run. Others I end up building what I need.
In this case, I had a Harbor Freight band saw but need(wanted) a larger one. 200 dollars, a road trip, and some fun rebuilding it, I have a band saw. The size of this is BIG. It will cut a 17"x 17" "I" beam. |
Enco Finger Brake
One tool I have always wanted has been a finger brake. I pick this up the end of July 2016.
CNC Build
Visit my CNC build pages. I have the X & the Y ball screws. The plan is all mine and in some cases it being made up as I go. The ball screws are going to allow me to use a router, plasma cutter, pen, and drag knife. I don't think it will be able to cut steel, maybe aluminum.
